Technical Manager (Technical Team) - Ipoh’s Site

Responsibilities
-  To lead & oversee design team.
-  To monitor, guide and approve all design work.
-  To provide design and technical advice or submission for project or site work requirement.
-  To re-engineering and optimize existing design for value engineering.
-  To provide evaluation report on all technical proposal or submission or information.
-  To review, approve and issue construction drawings.
-  To review , approve and issue as-built drawings.
-  To submit and acquire all WSIA/PDC approvals.
-  To liaison with the local authorities for work permit.
-  To prepare material approval submission.
-  To advise or purpose on method of rectification for defective work.
-  To carry out other duties assigned by the management by the management from time to time.

Requirement

-  Posses Degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Science.
-  Preferably registered with BEM as a professional engineer.
-  At least 8 to 10 years working experience in design consultant firm.
-  Prefer extensive design experience in design consultant firm.
-  Knowledge in desige software is essential.
-  Willing to accept outstation posting and work at night if required.
-  Good leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
-  Able to work under pressure and fast track environment.
-  Adaptable to dynamic change and ISO practice environment.
-  Posses some kind of computer and writing skills.
-  Posses good personality, team player, proactive and resourceful.
-  Highly self-discipline and self-motivated.
